Contest of the Week – Spongeables Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffer

Just like last week, we’re giving the gift of beautiful feet for our contest of the week. We really loved the product, Spongeables Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffer with Lavender and Tea Tree Oil (see our product review here), so it’s the prize for the week! To enter to win, just comment below with your best pedicure tip.

Here’s ours: If you have very dry skin, extend the life of your pedicure by exfoliating with a pumice stone every other day. Do it right before you get out the shower for the best results.

One winner will be chosen by 8/15/2012 and notified by email 8/22/2012. U.S. residents only. Odds of winning are 1 out of number of comments on this blog post.

cut your toe nails before you shower because sometimes you can cut off too much when they have been recently wet!

For dry nail beds warm up a little olive oil and apply with a qtip to the nail bed and put socks on and keep over night. Healthy soft nail beds in the morning

Brush you toenails with toothapste & let set for 10 minutes & rinse. This helps make yellow/nail polish stain townails white again.

  9. Ok I love that thing! It smells divine! Okay so my tip is to buy your own bottle of cuticle remover! Seriously this helps between appointments or makes an at home pedicure look professional! It just makes feet 100 times better & your nail color will adhere better at the nail base!

  10. K. says:

My tip is to always use a toe spreader when you’re painting or else you will smudge the polish everywhere! xoxo

  11. Alivia says:

Soak your feet in a good foot soak/scrub bath and add a little baby oil. Your feet will feel so soft and smooth afterwards.

  12. Vickie Smallwood says:

Use pure Shea butter after a pedicure for long lasting, smooth feet.

  13. Angela Stinnett says:

Virgin Coconut oil applied to feet after shower & covered with cotton socks seals in moisture, smells great & leaves feet baby soft by morning.

  14. Phoenix says:

Using a foot bath to soak your feet before using a pumice stone or foot scrub makes it much easier to exfoliate old skin.

  15. Michele says:

If you get a little sock lint in between your toenails, gently lift the lint out with a toothpick. Be careful not to push too hard or it can pierce the skin or break.

Dab on cuticle oil after every shower!

  26. Susan P. says:

Don’t go barefoot a lot or the bottoms of your feet will get tough.
