I like the foam hair color because there is no mess or drips.
Be sure to put down towels everywhere! That dye can really fly and it stays there forever. Better yet – get your sister to dye your hair. My sister is much better at it than I am!
Astringent, alcohol or peroxide will get ride of hair dye on your skin and many times your counters and such.
I have tried the John Freida foam once before. I outcome was not as great as I would have liked, but I would like to try this and see how it turns out.
I like the non harsh colors
A little bit of vaseline on your hairline when coloring will protect your skin and wipe off easy when drips happen.
I like to hop in the shower right before rinsing out hair dye. The steam helps the color penetrate just a little more.
Always can use a little root touch up
Aw, mine was about using Vaseline on your hairline too lol!
I always remember to use a really good conditioner or hot oil treatment to add back need moisture after dying my hair.
If you are running shy on hair color and need a little more to completely cover your hair, you can always add a very small amount of shampoo, massage it in and it will help you finish the job.
Before highlighting at home for the first time, separate out a quarter-inch section along both sides of your part — and clip it out of the way. Start your highlights below the clipped section. “It’ll hide any errors or spots where the color doesn’t make it all the way to your roots,
When I dye my hair (which is sad that I have a few gray hairs at only 22 years old, lol) I always do my favorite tip which is to section off my hair into different clumps evenly so that I’m sure not to miss any areas. I learned this after I tried to dye my hair black and had missed a few spots. It’s great to learn lessons!
