Contest of the Week – Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase Lift & Resculpt

erase2This week, we’re giving away a product that we tried and loved. Dr. LeWinn & Resculpt Serum XK Daily Treatment is formulated to firm, contour, and lift the skin. Enter to win by commenting below with your best skincare tip.

Here’s ours: If you swear your skin is too oily for a moisturizer try using a serum – it’s great for your skin but doesn’t have all the emollients that moisturizers do.

One winner will be chosen by 6/5/2013 and notified by email 6/12/2013. U.S. residents only. Odds of winning are 1 out of the number of comments on this blog post.

To soothe skin and condition, try jasmine extract. It is rich with antioxidants and gives skin a healthy glow.

  2. Katy says:

My best skincare tip is to always moisturize, even if you have oily skin. A very light, lotion type moisturizer is good, or even a serum can be used as a moisturizer for oily skin.

  3. Mary W says:

Good skin care starts at a very early age with sunscreen, no matter where you live. Reapply frequently throughout the day. You do NOT want to be battling skin cancer ever!

  4. Susan P. says:

Stay out of the sun! Use sunscreen.

  5. Nikki says:

I use a foundation that has SPF and a body lotion that has SPF. That makes it easy to protect my skin every day. If I need to, depending on what I’m doing, I’ll reapply sunscreen throughout the day.

  6. stephanie u' says:

Always, always remove your makeup before bed, even those 3am bedtimes lol

  7. Anne says:

Exfoliate daily by using a fresh washcloth or a cleansing pad.

  8. Patti says:

Add one drop foundation to your daily lotion application to make your skin more even-toned.

  9. vickie dailey says:

i find for my skin it is better to apply my skincare products in increments – I do my eye roller, let sink in, then do the eye cream, wait a few minutes and then do a gel moisturizer, allowing the products to sink in keeps my BB & foundation from getting oily later

  10. Cindy G says:

Use sunscreen and moisturizer starting early in life and use it daily. Drink lots of water.

  11. Jennifer Ryder says:

Use sunscreen every day and take your makeup off before bedtime!!

  12. Lulu says:

Take off makeup before bedtime and wash your face.

  13. Phoenix says:

Less is always better. Your skin needs to breathe, so don’t layer too many different products on your face at once, & always wash it clean before bed.

  14. Christine Didyk says:

I am not just posting this because I want to win the prize. I’m 44 years old. My skin is changing…for the worse. I really need a lifting serum that works and would like to try it out. My best sun care tips are are avoid the sun. Always wear a foundation with an SPF. Wear a good pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes. And don’t forget about using sunscreen on your ears. Especially if you’re driving. One last tip is sunscreen on your hands and chest. It’s never too late, so start now!

  15. Bonnie C. says:

I loved the tip you shared, I have terribly oily skin and for some reason always thought serums were heavier than regular moisturizers, but what you said about the emollients totally made sense. Anyway, my tip is… aside from always washing your face before going to bed (which is always said, but no less true!!!), don’t wait to start taking care of your skin until you are in your 30′s or 40′s, make sure you are proactive in your 20′s! :-)

    Thanks for having this giveaway!

  16. Jenn H says:

drink lots of water and wear sunscreen every day.

I’ve been using oils and serums on my face (I do have oily skin) and it actually makes my skin/complexion amazing.

  20. Liz says:

Cleansing is REALLY important! Find a quality cleanser that gets rid of all the dirt and makeup, but doesn’t strip your skin.

  21. MZJONES says:

As I get older I realize how important skincare is.

  22. Kirsten says:

    Do NOT tan. Period. :)

  23. Patti says:

Eat yogurt. Put plain yogurt on skin as a facial mask. Leave on for five to ten minutes…then rinse off.

  24. Nicole says:

Drink lots of water and get plenty of sleep.
