Contest of the Month – NeoCell Beauty Vitamins

Saturday, February 1st, 2014

NeoCellNeoCell is sponsoring our contest of this month! They are giving away a set of some of their best vitamins from their Beauty from Within line – Collagen Beauty Builder, Keratin Hair Volumizer, and Beauty Burst Fruit Punch Soft Chews, to one lucky winner (see our product review below to find out more about the products). To enter to win, just comment below how you’re using what you eat to enhance your hair, nail, or skin!

We tried the following NeoCell vitamins:

Collagen Beauty Builder – These vitamins contain high absorption collagen, ALA, & Biotin and are formulated for skin and nails. The biggest difference we noticed after trying these was our nail strength. With less breakage our manicures lasted longer. Please note that you have to be committed to the regimen. You’ll need to take 3 vitamins twice a day, and the bottle includes 150 tablets.

Keratin Hair Volumizer – These vitamins contain a high absorption form of Keratin, collagen, Amla extract, and vitamin C to strengthen and volumize your hair as well as increase shine. You take 2 of these vitamins twice a day. After four weeks, we noticed thicker hair. Again, you have to stick to the regimen. With hair you won’t see immediate results, so you’ll have to be patient for about four weeks before you can appreciate what the vitamins are doing for your hair.

Beauty Burst Fruit Punch Soft Chews – these are the most fun to take since they taste great and you can take them on the go. We especially liked to take them after meals to satisfy the craving for something sweet. These chews contain collagen, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C to benefit your skin, hair, and nails. We noticed results from taking these after a couple of weeks with our skin, and then later our nails and hair.

One winner will be chosen by 3/1/2014 and notified by email 3/15/2014. U.S. residents only. Odds of winning are 1 out of number of comments on this blog post. Winner will be contacted via email.

Contest of the Month – Tmart Makeup Set

Saturday, November 2nd, 2013

Tmart.com is sponsoring our contest of the month! They are giving away a free 168 Color Eyeshadow Palette Eyelash Liner Makeup Set to one lucky winner (see our product review below to find out more about the products). To enter to win, just comment below with your best makeup tip!

erase2We tried the 168 Color Eyeshadow Palette Eyelash Liner Makeup Set which includes:

  • One 168 Color Eyeshadow Set
  • One box of 10 Pairs of False Eyelashes
  • One Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner

As you can imagine, with 168 colors, the eyeshadow has every color you can imagine. Since the packaging is sleek, it’s perfect for storage without taking up too much room. Makeup artists would probably love to keep this on hand so you have access to all the colors you might need in one palette. The eyeshadows in the palette are not pigment rich, so they have a more sheer finish. For intense color, you’ll need primer or to use the colors with water. They also blend very well.

This kit is a great value since you actually get TEN pairs of false eyelashes. The eyelashes are a nice texture and would be flattering on most, so again, this is a nice kit for makeup artists to have on hand. They did a great job varying the lengths of the eyelashes, so they’re natural looking enough to wear for a wedding. The kit does not include eyelash glue – we recommend buying black glue for best results.

Finally, the waterproof eyeliner is in a fun leopard print container. It’s a standard eyeliner and you can apply pressure to make thick lines or do a light swipe for thin lines. This is a very pigmented, truly black eyeliner. It is also a traditional liquid and does not have a gel-like consistency like some eyeliners on the market right now. You have a bit of time before it dries to correct any mistakes. After that it’s waterproof. But it’s not so waterproof that it’s difficult to wash off in the evening.

If you want to find out more about Tmart, go to their website or follow them on social media: Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

One winner will be chosen by 11/30/2013 and notified by email 12/07/2013. U.S. residents only. Odds of winning are 1 out of number of comments on this blog post. Winner will be contacted via email.
