CoverGirl TRUcheeks Blush

We are fans of the CoverGirl TRUblend line, which is a line of cosmetics that adjust to go with your skin tone. Once you know what your foundation is, there are corresponding concealers, pressed powders, and blushes marked with the same number as your foundation. It eliminates the amount of time many of us spend in the drugstore aisle staring at products and trying to figure out the right shades. TRUcheeks blush has a palette of 3 complementary colors that are meant to be mixed to get the perfect shade you want. However, if you’re like us and like a contoured look, you can you use the lightest color to highlight your cheek bones, the mid-color for the apples of your cheeks, and the darkest color for the hollow of your cheek.

CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder (Sensitive Skin)

Our preferred method to use pressed powder is to take a large brush and use it to set foundation and combat greasy skin. CoverGirl’s Clean Pressed Powder for Sensitive Skin really did the job. We were shine free for the entire day, and it didn’t feel heavy at all. We chose the one for Sensitive Skin because it’s fragrance free – we figure the less ingredients to irritate our skin, the better! CoverGirl Continuous Color Lipstick

Long wear lipsticks are traditionally drying, despite the fact that they all claim they are not. CoverGirl’s Continuous Color Lipstick lasts for hours, but it actually leaves your lips in better condition! We tried it for work and waited for the inevitable parched feeling but it never came – the lipstick lasted a full day at work. It’s no wonder; this lipstick is 50% moisturizers, including Vitamin E and Vitamin A. If you’re looking for a nice red matte lipstick, try their Really Red shade 575.
