Black Radiance Starry Eyes Shadow Stick
Sunday, January 24th, 2010
Smoky eye makeup is a look that has never gone out of style. In the pages of fashion magazines it often looks easy, but then when you use your own eyeshadow it seems like more of a gray color than black. With most shades, you have to layer or dampen your applicator to get a true black. We have found the real deal when it comes to black eyeshadow. Black Radiance Starry Eyes Shadow Stick in Jet Black gives intense color with one swipe.
This eyeshadow stick goes on smoothly, and thankfully for those of us who are clumsy, blends well. We wore this eyeshadow all day without seeing any creases or signs of fading. Best of all, you don’t have to use the old trick of putting a tissue under the eye to catch stray eyeshadow when applying. The stick has no crumble factor.
To create a smoky eye, hold the stick as close to your upper lash line as possible and draw short strokes from the outer lashes inward, stopping just short of the inner corner. Line your bottom lashes and smudge. Take a lighter, less intense shade, and blend the black from your crease to your brow bone. Then add some high volume mascara. Voila!

Maybelline Expertwear Eye Shadow

When you’re tired, adding a touch of shimmer eyeshadow on the inner corner of the eyes can make you look refreshed. A golden color is great for darker complexions, and for pale complexions try a silvery shade. We really liked the 50 Sunlit Bronze Maybelline Expertwear Eye Shadow Quad for the summer. Each shadow is marked with the best part of the eye to apply the colors. Best of all, it’s crease and fade resistant, a must in this hot weather.
