Sally Hansen Moisturizing Foot Crème

Tuesday, September 25th, 2012

Did you know that your feet have very few oil glands compared to the rest of your body?  It’s no wonder then that the lotion that you use for the rest of your body may not be enough to keep your feet hydrated. We tried Sally Hansen’s Moisturizing Foot Crème and loved the formula. A welcome surprise considering Sally Hansen is not necessarily known for their skincare. It’s thick and can moisturize even the driest feet. But it doesn’t make your feet so greasy that they slip around in your shoes. Our favorite thing about this Crème is that it contains anti-fungal tea tree oil – a must for a healthy pedicure.

Spongeables Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffer

Tuesday, June 19th, 2012

Foot files and pumice stones can get gross when you’ve had them for awhile. A nice alternative is the Spongeables Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffer. It’s a sponge loaded with shea butter, olive oil, lavender, and tea tree oil (which is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial). The sponge will last for 20 uses and can then be discarded. This is a great option for travel since there isn’t anything to spill and you won’t have to count it as a liquid for flying. What we loved the most was that the abrasive side of the sponge gave the perfect amount of exfoliation. It definitely gives your feet a good scrub. We also like the tea trea oil, which is an awesome ingredient for foot care. Spongeables also has other products, even one for dogs! Spongeables are paraben free and are not tested on animals.

Revlon Pedi-Expert Shower Pedicure Kit

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

We have to admit, we were expecting to be unimpressed with Revlon’s Pedi-Expert Shower Pedicure Kit. Many exfoliating stones (both natural and synthetic) may work to eliminate dead skin, but leave your feet feeling rough. We were pleasantly surprised after using Revlon’s Pedi-Expert Shower Pedicure Kit. After one use, our feet were amazingly smooth. In the kit, you get a soft brush to exfoliate and clean your feet, a contoured stone to remove dead skin, and a cuticle pusher. The unit easily fits in your hand, and you can stack the brush on top of it (saving you valuable shower real estate). Hands down this is our favorite pedicure product we’ve tried to date.
