Since our favorite moisturizer is now Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream we were eager to try another product from the same line – Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV-Lotion. Since it is agreed upon that UV rays cause the majority of skin damage and aging, we were drawn to the fact that this lotion also has an SPF of 15. Like the gel cream, this product promises to lock in moisture for 24 hours and contains grape water extract (anti-oxidant) and apple water extract (protects against moisture loss). However, although this lotion is meant to be worn during the day, we preferred to use it as a nighttime moisturizer instead. For our combination skin it was a little too greasy for day time wear but perfect for taking care of dry patches without clogging pores at night. If your skin is very dry, you might like this one better.
