Wetnwild Lash Intense Mascara
Thursday, February 4th, 2010
It just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a great mascara. Our latest recessionista find is Wetnwild’s Lash Intense Mascara. The mascara brush is very unique; it’s made of rubber with tiny nubs. We were doubtful that we would get results from this strange looking brush, but we were quickly proven wrong. The formula gives excellent volume, and the brush highlighted smaller lashes that we didn’t even know were there.

WetnWild Natural Wear Pressed Powder
Saturday, January 23rd, 2010
Radiant, healthy skin seems to always be ‘in’. But the dewy look went out of style in 2004. So those of us with oily skin must take extra steps so our makeup doesn’t dissolve mid-day into shiny patches. To set our foundation, we liked WetnWild Natural Wear Pressed Powder. Our foundation looked wonderfully matte the whole day and it didn’t cake in certain areas like some powders tend to. And since it has vitamins and a multi-mineral complex, your skin is in better condition after wearing it. We found it was easier to apply using a big powder brush instead of the puff that’s provided. The bonus? It comes in eco-conscious paper packaging.

Wetnwild MegaVolume Thickening Mascara
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009
Thick lashes without clumping? It IS possible! WetnWild’s MegaVolume Thickening Mascara thickens your eyelashes, but the formula itself is not thick and goopy at all. The brush design separates your lashes and reaches even the tiny ones at the corners so you don’t have to keep applying. This product does not give dramatic effect, but its natural finish and eyelash conditioners make it ideal for everyday wear. We also loved that the price is easy on the wallet as well.

WetnWild BeautyBenefits Mint Infusions Lip Tint
Saturday, November 21st, 2009
When you pack for your summer vacation, you should bring sunblock for your skin AND your lips. WetnWild BeautyBenefits Mint Infusions Lip Tint has an SPF of 15, and antioxidants to protect your lips. A welcome bonus was its peppermint oil ingredient, which freshens breath and gives a cooling sensation. The colors may seem dark in the packaging, but this gloss is really a tinted balm with extreme shine. If you like more color, try a dab on top of your lipstick.

WetnWild Speedgloss Energizing Lip Shine
Thursday, November 19th, 2009
Did you know that you should throw lip gloss out after 9 months? Chances are, you have some tubes in your makeup bag that are way past the point of expiration. We refreshed our own lip gloss supply with WetnWild Speedgloss Energizing Lip Shine. There is no wand to mess around with, or pot to stick your finger in, you just simply squeeze the tube and apply the gloss like lipstick.
The texture is pleasantly smooth, no stickiness. Speedgloss also has a lot of shimmer, so it has intense shine. The ingredients contain Gingko Bilboa, Ginseng, Guarana, Acai, Vitamin E, and peppermint. Antioxidants protect your lips from aging. Our favorite shade was Frenzied, it’s difficult to find a flattering shade of gold gloss and this is it!

WetnWild i-Sparkle Eyeshadow
Wednesday, November 18th, 2009
Most women want only a bit of shimmer and don’t want to end up looking like they’re glittering up for a rave. WetnWild i-Sparkle Eyeshadow has a selection of eyeshadow quartets that brighten the eyes with a subtle shimmer.
Each quartet comes with an ingenious sliding mirror that makes application a cinch and a really fun design. Our favorite shade was 141 Galatic Realm. Although the colors may look intense, they do not deposit a lot of pigment (think a step higher than sheer).

Mineral makeup has a ton of benefits, but it definitely has room for improvement in the available selection of shades. If you can’t find the perfect for shade for your skin but want the benefits of mineral powder, you may want to try the WetnWild BeautyBenefits Fresh Effects Mineral Veil in the translucent shade.
This loose powder is for all skin types. It hides shine in your oily areas but also minimizes the appearance of lines and pores. The powder has a fine shimmer that translates to a radiant glow when applied to the skin. It’s also fragrance free and non irritating. We also give WetnWild a thumbs up for the elegant packaging, it’s always fun to have sophisticated looking makeup.
