If your nails are brittle then be sure to file them in one direction. Thin or brittle nails don’t do very well with the back and forth motion of filing (which weakens nails further).

for some reason using hand lotion makes my nails healthy
I put Vaseline on my cuticles before I polish! It keeps them looking nice.
Sometimes I put some slices of lemon in warm water, and then soak my nails in it. It made my nails look more clear and soft. That works for me 🙂

I use hand lotion to keep my nails healthy.
Don’t leave the same polish on for weeks at a time..it will turn your nails yellow!
I put a thick moisturizing cream on top of my nails and let it absorb to keep them from getting too dry or brittle.

Take your vitamins and nail and hair supplements.
Soak your nails in EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) this remedy Naturally strengthens the nails and softens the cuticles it also cures dry nails.
Solar oil to moisturize…. NO NAIL GLUE OR FAKE NAILS… 🙁
To whiten yellowed nails from wearing dark polish, soak your nails for 10 minutes with denture tablets. They will whiten 🙂

Garlic nail harder to keep the nails strong and healthy.
Limit use of nail polish remover. Don’t use nail polish remover more than once a week. When you do need to use nail polish remover, choose the acetone-free variety. Acetone dries nails. Don’t Abuse your fingernails. To prevent nail damage (and chipping off polish), don’t use your fingernails as tools to pick, poke or pry things.
Don’t underestimate the power of a top coat and a base coat. 🙂 Works wonders for at home manicures!
Keep your cuticles moisturized! Push them back gently after a soaking-a bath or shower will do and never cut them with a scissor.
No biting…I was finally able to stop and my nails are strong and healthy now…

To keep my nails from chipping, I apply a nail strengthening cream called Hard as Hoof.
I like to use cuticle cream or oil every night to keep them looking healthy! And buff my nails when they’re not polished.

Always apply a base coat before painting your nails. Especially dark colors because it can stain your nails when you take the polish off.
You can get cuticle oil to help grow nails faster and stronger.
