Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation
Thursday, May 23rd, 2013
The problem with most of the long wear foundations that we’ve tried is that they’re drying, so they’re not suitable for everyday use. We tried Bobbi Brown’s new long-wear even finish foundation and didn’t see dry skin, even after 3 weeks of daily use. What’s really surprising is that this product contains glycerin and shea butter for moisture but retains a lightweight feel. Retailing at around $58, it also contains vitamins C and E and an SPF of 15. However, most experts claim that you would have to wear an unnatural amount of foundation to get the SPF benefit claimed on makeup. The coverage is great, the makeup lasts, and there’s a great selection of colors. However, if you’d like even more coverage and marathon wear that withstands heat and humidity, we still think Estee Lauder’s Double Wear is the best for special occasions (it’s too drying for everyday).
