L’Oreal Revitalift Radiant Smoothing Wet Cleansing Towlettes

Friday, February 26th, 2010

eraseL’Oreal’s Revitalift Radiant Smoothing Wet Cleansing Towlettes are hands down the best face cloths for removing makeup that we’ve ever used. These cloths remove all of your makeup instantly, and we even got great results with waterproof mascara. The cloths also exfoliate your skin and contain nutrients like Vitamin C so your skin is in better condition with every use. This is also a great option if you have sensitive skin and want to remove dead skin but don’t want the irritation that scrubs can leave behind. This is marketed toward women with aging skin, but we recommend this to people of all ages.

L’Oreal Skin Genesis Multi-Layer Cell Strengthening Moisturizer

Friday, January 29th, 2010

eraseThe world is your oyster when you go into the drug store looking for a moisturizer for dry skin. However, if you want a fantastic moisturizer that won’t leave your skin greasy and won’t dissolve your makeup, it’s a hard search. We like the new L’Oreal Skin Genesis Multi-Layer Cell Strengthening Moisturizer. They have a lot of technology and research behind it; but the end result is that the moisturizer is absorbed right into your skin when you put it on, leaving your face perfectly primed for foundation. This moisturizer is said to soften fine lines, brighten skin, and minimize pores. We found that it did the best job at pore minimizing. The bonus? This moisturizer also has an SPF of 15.

L’Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

eraseEyeshadows may last forever, but it’s important to always have fresh mascara. We really liked L’Oreals new Extra Volume Collagen Mascara. Although it didn’t do much lengthening, we got a lot of volume. This mascara works by plumping the lashes from the inside out with hydra collagen. The brush is designed to get even your smallest lashes as well. What we liked best about this mascara is that we could keep layering without having to worry about clumping.

L’Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Skin Re-Smoother

Monday, January 4th, 2010

eraseFor years there has not been a comparable product to Estee Lauder’s best-seller, Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher, which retails for around $46.50. So we applaud L’Oreal for coming out with a product that’s just as effective, but is available in local drugstores.
Selling at around $19.99, the Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Skin Re-Smoother is one of the few skin care products that we’ve seen that gives instant results. Unlike many of the all natural organic products that are being launched today, L’Oreal has a more scientific approach for the Skin Genesis line. However, all the formulas are dermatologist tested to be safe and gentle.
To start with, even the packaging is advanced. Pore Minimizing Skin Re-Smoother has a unique airless pump, which protects the formula. It also doesn’t hurt that the tube is really neat looking! This product claims to tighten pores and retexturize skin, and it actually delivers. After one application, our pores looked smaller and our skin was softer.
The active ingredients are pro-xylane and hyaluronic acid (used by dermatologists for wrinkles). This product is to be used daily, underneath moisturizer. This formula absorbs in the skin very rapidly, and we found that we could not use it without moisturizer. It’s also very lightweight, so we didn’t feel like we had a lot of product on our skin.

L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Lash Extension Effect Mascara

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

erase L'OrealIf you’re lashes are your favorite thing to enhance you’ll love L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Lash Extension Effect Mascara. The dual sided tube contains a base coat and a regular mascara. First you use the base, which goes on sheer even though it’s white. Infused with Ceramide R and D Pathenol, the base coat conditions your lashes so they’ll actually look better over time. The mascara promises to make your lashes 80% longer. We got longer length, but what we liked the most about this product is that we could wash the mascara completely off, with no eyelash casualties (less lashes lost is always a plus)! L’Oreal’s Double Extend Mascara didn’t smudge or smear; even after a workout.
