Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Serum Duo
Sunday, May 18th, 2014
If you’re really into taking care of your eye area, you may be interested in Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Serum Duo, which helps your eyes look younger and brighter in just one week. We tried the duo, and admittedly it’s not a huge time saver as there are two steps. The eye cream packaging is great. Instead of a pot that is prone to contamination by continually dipping your fingers, it’s a small tube that allows you to ration out a perfect amount. The consistency is not as thick as we thought it would be since it’s a cream. However, it’s a very powerful moisturizer and plays nicely with makeup. It contains the Olay Advanced Amino-peptide Complex + hydra firming complex which is supposed to penetrate deeply into the skin surface and the eye area. The lash serum is fun to use because it separates and coats your eye lashes, so you may be tempted to go without mascara. The serum didn’t help with growth but definitely made the most of existing lashes. The glycerin formula is basically a lash conditioner. All in all, if you have the time, this product is a good step toward beautiful eyes.

Olay Long Live Moisture Satin Finish Lotion
Saturday, July 13th, 2013
Even people with oily skin should wear lotion. However, many lotions are geared toward people with dry skin. Finally–Olay’s Long Live Moisture Satin Finish Lotion is perfect for oily or combination skin. It’s light-weight with a matte finish, so it’s especially great for hot or humid days. We loved this lotion’s pleasant scent and how quickly it absorbed in the skin. Also, Satin Finish Lotion seems to take away the need for a mattifier. The product’s packaging doesn’t carry on about the ingredients so we’re not sure what’s in it, we just know it works. Notably absent is an SPF or a list of antioxidants, but perhaps that’s what keeps the lotion so light.
Tip: It may be tempting to not wear lotion if you have oily skin, but keep in mind that oil is not the same thing as hydration, and your skin will produce more oil to compensate for the lack of moisture.

Olay Total Effects 7 Wet Cloths Cleanser
Monday, January 14th, 2013
We tried Olay’s Total Effects 7 Wet Cloths Cleanser since it promised to not only remove makeup, but also fight 7 signs of aging. Like Olay 2-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths, we thought that these cloths worked wonderfully to remove makeup, but it does sting if you get the cleanser in your eyes. We thought that these cloths were great for our skin’s texture as well.

Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen – Normal Skin
Monday, December 3rd, 2012
Olay has been known for their moisturizers for quite some time. We tried their All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen for normal skin, which has vitamins E, B3, & C. Although this formula was for normal skin, we thought it was moisturizing enough to get away with for dry skin as well. We really loved what it did for the texture of our skin, and it’s always nice to have sunscreen and moisturizer in one step. We all know that we’re supposed to put sunscreen on by itself, but how many of us really do it? At least with Olay you have a little protection. Although this product works wonderfully for normal and dry skin types, we found that for acne prone skin, it can cause break outs.

Olay 2-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths
Friday, November 23rd, 2012
Makeup wipes and facial cloths are a pretty convenient way to remove makeup. The latest we tried is Olay’s 2-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths for sensitive skin. The textured cloths are excellent for gentle exfoliation and removing makeup. You don’t have to make a lot of swipes to remove multiple layers of eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. The only drawback that we found with this cloth is that although it’s for sensitive skin, it still stings if you get it in your eyes, so be careful!
