Nuance Salma Hayek AM/PM Anti-Aging Super Cream

We appreciate that Salma Hayek’s beauty product line, Nuance, contains natural ingredients. The latest product we tried is the AM/PM Anti-Aging Super Cream. This contains tepezcohuite, which is a type of tree that ancient Mayans sourced for skin treatment. The upside of this cream is that it’s only $5, but the downside at only .265 oz, this will be the smallest container in your beauty cabinet. We actually liked the size since it’s not very sanitary to dip your fingers in a container of moisturizer for months on end. Our verdict is that this product works as well as pricier products in the anti-age arena. Hydration wise, this works well enough and is not very greasy. If you have extremely dry skin you may need more moisture.
Tip: If your skin needs more moisture than your favorite anti-age cream provides, try layering with a skin oil. For example Bio-Oil works well in conjunction with other products.

Nuance Salma Hayek Texturizing Sea Salt Spray

The texture of hair after a day at the beach is great, taking ocean water home with you in a spray bottle isn’t particularly appealing. Products like Nuance Salma Hayek Texturizing Sea Salt Spray are supposed to allow you to get beachy waves at any time. This spray has both seaweed and algae extracts and is not heavily fragranced. Thankfully, it doesn’t make your hair sticky it’s refreshing to use. You should also know that that it gives your hair a matte finish if you prefer glossy waves or curls.

Nuance Salma Hayek Exfoliating Body Cleansing Scrub

When we read the article on Salma Hayek in Marie’s Claire’s @Work Magazine, we just had to try her line of beauty products, Nuance Salma Hayek. The entire Nuance Salma Hayek line is exclusive to CVS and paraben free, and even better – it’s not tested on animals. We tried the Exfoliating Body Cleansing Scrub in Macademia Nut, which is not inexpensive for a drugstore brand (it’s $8.99). What surprised us is that it’s a very creamy formula, and it doesn’t actually feel like scrub. This scrub is said to work to remove dead skin cells from the macademia nut oil and the microbeads working together. If you really want to SCRUB your skin, we suggest trying this with a loofa. We really like that the scent is light and doesn’t compete with whatever perfume you wear for the day. Nuance Salma Hayek also offers products in Cosmetics, Skincare, Haircare, and Body.
