L’Oreal Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen

Are you guilty of not wearing sunscreen on your face daily? Besides adding an extra skincare step, it can be annoying to put a greasy sunscreen on when it’s hot. And of course it may not work well with makeup. We tried L’Oreal Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen SPF 50+ Liquid Silk Sunshield For Face and were surprised by how lightweight it was – it felt more like a normal moisturizer and even contains Vitamin E and White Grapeseed. It’s not too heavy and absorbs quickly – a must for those with oily skin. We think this is a great product to try if you’re trying to do better with wearing sunscreen every day, and since it’s water resistant you can also use it for the beach. If you have oily skin you can use this instead of moisturizer, but if you have dry skin this won’t be enough to use alone.
Tip: After you’re done applying sunscreen on your face, be sure to do a swipe on your ears and behind them. There are many skin cancer cases in the ear area, so be sure to cover up!

L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Powder

If you have oily skin the warmer weather is not such a good thing! To keep the shine at bay, L’Oreal’s Infallible Never Fail Powder promises to help ‘you stay shine free all day’ and promises 16 hour wear. We gave it the ultimate try out – a work out at the gym. After forty five minutes we still had a matte finish. It’s also nice that you can dampen the cosmetic sponge and use with the powder if you want a heavier, foundation-like coverage. However, since there are only 6 shades available we prefer to use it in a powder form (there is more leeway for color matching with powder). L’Oreal’s Infallible Never Fail Powder has an SPF 20 sunscreen.

In the winter months, most people are more concerned about cracked lips than UV rays. But sun protection is just as important as moisture for healthy lips the entire year. Shady Kiss is a company dedicated to providing convenient ways to apply sunscreen. Not only does their lip balm contain an SPF of 30, Vitamins A and E, and Aloe Vera; it’s organic. With it being so cold outside it’s easy to get tired of lip balm flavors after applying it for the umpteenth time for the day, so we liked that Shady Kiss Lip Balm is flavorless. The bonus? It’s also paraben free.
