wet n wild megalast nail color
Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011
When we tried wet n wild’s megalast nail color, we expected a day or two of wear before chipping given the $1.99 price tag. However, this is literally the longest lasting nail polish that we’ve tried to date (including higher end brands such as O.P.I.). We went to wet n wild’s website and saw that their megalast nail color contains a polymer system that helps the polish to adhere to your nails. And as a nice touch, the polish is calcium and mineral fortified to prevent nail discoloration. This was especially useful since the shade we tried, Red Tape, was a very vibrant red. Another bonus is that this polish is toulene, phthalate, and formaldehyde free. We’re really impressed by the quality of megalast nail color, and at $1.99 we can certainly afford to get even more colors!

WetnWild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette
Monday, July 26th, 2010
Want your eyeshadow to last all day long? Try using foundation or concealer as a base before putting on your eyeshadow. For a smoky eye on a budget, we really liked WetnWild’s Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Greed. Students in cosmetology school can create a great look like this on a budget. It has 4 light shades, and a highly pigmented gray and black eyeshadow – perfect for blending!

WetnWild Intuitive Blend Shade Adjusting Foundation + Primer
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010
Lately we’ve noticed that WetnWild cosmetics has been churning out some really high quality products but at the same inexpensive prices. Our latest favorite is their Intuitive Blend Shade Adjusting Foundation + Primer. Priced at around $6, this is probably the most reasonably priced foundation you’ll ever buy! The foundation starts out white, then adjusts to match your skin color exactly. You don’t have to spend too much time in the store deciding what your color is – there are 4 color ranges to choose from (Fair, Light, Medium, and Tan). What we liked the most about this foundation is that it delivered a matte finish with natural looking coverage, which is a combination that is hard to find.

WetnWild Ultimate Brow Kit
Wednesday, February 24th, 2010
If you like to keep your eyebrows perfect at all times, you’d really like WetnWild’s Ultimate Brow Kit. Its space saving package contains a mirror, a pair of tweezers, a hard angle brush, 2 brow shadows, and a wax for setting your brows. It’s very compact and won’t hog too much space in your makeup bag. For a natural look, we suggest using the darker shade to draw in fine hairs, and then the lighter shade to fill in sparse brows. We especially liked the wax for taming unruly brows.
